A Guide to Our Services

There are so many elements that our projects potentially need – from the very early stages of planning, right through to energisation and meter installs. Here are our main services:

New Electric Connections

Connecting from the closest available point of connection on the electricity network (PoC) to the agreed termination point within your property/properties.

This can be a Low Voltage (LV) or High Voltage (HV)PoC depending on your requirements. Temporary supplies for building purposes fall under this category.

New Water Connections

Connecting from the closest usable water main to the pipework already installed on your property. Pipe size and type will depend on your requirements. These connections can be domestic supplies, temporary supplies for building purposes, fire supplies for sprinkler systems or private fire hydrants.

Disconnections

The disconnection of existing electric, gas and water supplies from your development. If an existing building (or buildings) on site have live services, they will need disconnecting at source. This work will be carried out by the network and will be on public land.

Desktop Utility Surveys

Using the information at our disposal to create a survey of the area your development sits within. This will include existing network plans for electric, gas and water (clean and waste), advice on digging in that area plus any other potential issues that may affect the development (works access, traffic management etc.).

Diversionary Work

If an electric, gas or water main is going to affect your development or your development will compromise the depth of the main, it will need a diversion. Depending on requirements, this could mean a significant diversion around the site or a shorter diversion (e.g. lowering for a new site entrance).

Commercial Electric Meter Installations

When your commercial development is ready for power on, we will arrange your meter install and ensure that you have a supply contract that meets your needs.

Generation Agreements

If you are planning to add generation equipment to your development (solar panels, heat pumps etc.) and are wanting to generate electricity back onto the grid, we can support the process involved in getting the necessary agreements in place with the network.
